Its flexible design ensures optimal comfort and allows it to be worn directly under ballistic helmets. Helmet mounts are also available as an accessory.

An upgrade from the ComTac™ XPI, the ComTac™ VIII provides a SNR of 29 dB, with a maximum noise reduction of 40 dB when paired with 3M™ Earplug Classic earplugs, ensuring superior hearing protection.
