The Ascend ISR Systems AV-14 Infantry FPV Goggle

AV-14 Infantry FPV Goggle

The AV-14 Infantry FPV Goggle from Ascend ISR Systems represents a new generation of FPV technology designed specifically for military and professional use. Developed at the direct request of a U.S. Army Special Warfare Group, the AV-14 is built to meet the real-world demands of dismounted teams and drone operators operating in complex environments.

This marks a clear shift away from improvised solutions toward fully integrated, mission-ready FPV systems that are purpose-built for reliability and performance.

Built for Real Operational Conditions

Constructed from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, the AV-14 is engineered to withstand harsh field conditions and continuous operational use. Its low-profile design reduces bulk and snag risk, making it ideal for light infantry and mobile operators who require streamlined equipment.

Integrated dovetails are machined directly into the housing, allowing seamless compatibility with widely used mounting systems such as Wilcox G24 mounts, J-Arms, PanoBridges, and other PVS-14 style setups. This ensures easy integration into existing gear without the need for additional adapters or modifications.

Reliable Power and Instant Deployment

The AV-14 runs on a single 18650 rechargeable battery, providing up to five hours of continuous operation. This offers a practical balance between runtime and simplicity, using widely available power sources that are easy to manage in the field.

With instant boot-up, the system is ready the moment you need it, an essential feature in fast-paced environments where delays are not an option.

Versatile Compatibility and Future Integration

Fully compatible with all analog FPV systems currently on the market, the AV-14 is designed to integrate effortlessly into existing platforms. This broad compatibility allows operators to adopt the system without overhauling their current setup.

In addition, the AV-14 is designed to support future aerial platforms with the ability to switch between RGB and thermal imaging modes. This dual-vision capability enhances situational awareness across a wide range of conditions, from low-light environments to obscured terrain.

Designed for Situational Awareness

The monocular configuration allows for asymmetric mounting, enabling users to maintain peripheral vision with the non-dominant eye. This design supports greater awareness of surroundings while still providing focused FPV input—an important advantage in dynamic operational scenarios.

Rather than obstructing vision, the AV-14 complements it, aligning with the needs of professionals who rely on both direct observation and FPV data.

A New Standard in FPV Systems

The AV-14 reflects a broader shift in tactical optics toward systems that prioritize simplicity, durability, and seamless integration. Built with direct input from end-users, it is designed not just to perform, but to endure real-world use where equipment is constantly tested.

As one of the first American-made FPV goggle systems purpose-built for infantry applications, the AV-14 sets a new benchmark for compact, rugged, and adaptable FPV solutions.
