Frequently Asked Questions — Agilite

What is Agilite?
Agilite is a manufacturer of premium tactical equipment developed for military, law enforcement, special operations and other demanding users. The brand specializes in modern load-bearing equipment with a strong focus on comfort, modularity, durability and practical performance. The Agilite range includes plate carriers, battle belts, placards, magazine pouches, backpacks, back panels and tactical accessories designed to work together as a modular equipment system.
What is Agilite best known for?
Agilite is particularly well known for its K-Zero SF and K19 Plate Carriers, alongside products such as the Pincer Placard, Magnetix Battle Belt, Warfighter Cummerbund, AMAP III Assault Pack, Micro MAP Back Panel and Six Pack Hanger Pouch. Together, these products provide a modular ecosystem that can be configured around different roles and equipment requirements.
What is the Agilite K-Zero SF Plate Carrier?
The K-Zero SF Plate Carrier is a modern modular plate carrier designed to combine load-bearing capability with comfort and freedom of movement. It comes with Agilite's semi-rigid Micro Warfighter Cummerbund, quick-release hardware, laser-cut MOLLE surfaces and removable shoulder pads. The K-Zero SF is compatible with both MOLLE and placard systems, allowing the carrier to be configured with pouches, placards, back panels and other tactical accessories.
What is the difference between the Agilite K-Zero SF and K19?
Both are modular plate carriers designed for demanding use, but their construction and features differ. The K-Zero SF is a highly modular platform designed to scale between streamlined and heavier load-bearing configurations, while the K19 uses a different carrier design and adjustment system. The best choice depends on your armor plates, preferred setup and the amount of equipment you intend to carry.
What size plates fit the Agilite K-Zero SF?
The K-Zero SF is designed to accommodate multiple common ballistic plate sizes within Agilite's specified dimensions. Plate carrier selection should primarily be based on the dimensions of your ballistic plates rather than your normal clothing size. Always compare your plate dimensions with the manufacturer's specifications before ordering.
What is the Agilite Pincer Placard?
The Pincer Placard is Agilite's modular magazine placard system designed to provide secure magazine retention while maintaining fast access. Its streamlined construction provides an efficient way to carry magazines on the front of a compatible plate carrier. The Pincer system can be combined with other Agilite accessories, making it possible to configure the front of the carrier around different magazines and equipment requirements.
Can Agilite pouches be used on plate carriers from other brands?
Yes. Many Agilite pouches and accessories use standard MOLLE/PALS attachment systems, meaning you don't necessarily need an Agilite plate carrier to use them. MOLLE-compatible Agilite pouches can be mounted to compatible plate carriers, chest rigs, battle belts and backpacks from many other tactical gear manufacturers. Compatibility can vary with proprietary placards, back panels and specialized attachment systems, so the mounting method of each product should always be checked.
Are Agilite accessories compatible with other brands?
Many Agilite accessories can be integrated with equipment from other manufacturers. Products using standard MOLLE/PALS, hook-and-loop or common placard attachment systems can often be combined with compatible third-party plate carriers, chest rigs and tactical belts. This allows users to add Agilite components to an existing setup without having to replace their complete loadout.
What is the Agilite Magnetix Battle Belt?
The Agilite Magnetix Battle Belt is a two-piece tactical belt system designed to provide a stable and modular platform for carrying first-line equipment such as magazine pouches, an IFAK, dump pouch, holster and utility gear. One of its distinctive features is the magnetic alignment system, designed to help the inner and outer belts align quickly and consistently. The outer belt provides an extensive MOLLE mounting surface and its rigid construction uses CORDURA Mil-Spec nylon, CURV thermoplastic composite, laser-cut Squadron laminate and a COBRA quick-release buckle.
Does Agilite make backpacks and back panels?
Yes. Agilite offers several solutions for carrying additional equipment, including the AMAP III Assault Pack and Micro MAP Back Panel. These systems provide additional storage for mission-essential equipment and can be incorporated into compatible tactical setups. Depending on the mounting system, selected Agilite packs and back panels can also be integrated with compatible equipment from other manufacturers.
