The Tracer Tactical Enhanced Modular Body Armor Vest (E-MBAV) is a lightweight, scalable plate carrier inspired by the legendary Crye Precision LV-MBAV.

Designed for both covert and overt applications, the E-MBAV combines a streamlined profile with the modularity needed to adapt to different operational requirements.

Slick or MOLLE Plate Bags

The E-MBAV can be configured with different plate bag options depending on your preferred setup.

Slick Plate Bags

Ideal for users who prefer a clean, low-profile configuration. The Slick design maintains the streamlined appearance of the original LV-MBAV concept.

MOLLE Plate Bags

For users who require additional mounting options, Tracer Tactical also offers laser-cut MOLLE front and rear plate bags.

The MOLLE front plate bag provides additional mounting options for compatible placards, JUGGERNAUT cases, and other mission-essential equipment.

The MOLLE rear plate bag allows the integration of compatible backpacks, rear panels, and additional equipment.

Both plate bags are also available with optional Velcro ID panels for identification patches.

Choose the Slick configuration for a minimalist setup or the MOLLE configuration for additional mounting flexibility.

Cummerbund Options

The E-MBAV is available with two different cummerbund configurations:

Full JTAC Cummerbund

The complete JTAC configuration, featuring removable MOLLE radio pouches and side armor bags.

The side armor bags accommodate 6×6-inch hard armor plates or 6×9-inch soft armor inserts.

JTAC Base Cummerbund

The base version of the JTAC Cummerbund, without the additional radio pouches and side armor bags included with the Full JTAC configuration.

Sizing & Armor Compatibility

The E-MBAV is available at Gear Town in size Medium (M).

The E-MBAV features two internal armor pockets, allowing users to combine ballistic plates with compatible soft armor inserts.

The front and rear plate bags are designed to accommodate Velocity Systems MBAV soft armor inserts or standard SAPI inserts.

Size Medium specifications:

• Designed for 9.5 × 12.5-inch SAPI-cut plates.

• For 10 × 12-inch plates, Tracer Tactical recommends size Large.

Always verify your armor dimensions before selecting a carrier.
