Husar: Noble 4.0, Kirys 3.0 and the Full Ecosystem Explained

Polish tactical manufacturing at its most refined. Husar builds plate carriers, back panel systems, and pouches for professionals who need gear that performs under pressure without compromise.

NIR Compliant Made in Poland Cordura 500D IRR Crye Precision Compatible Swift Clip System

Husar is a Polish manufacturer with a clear design philosophy: build gear that works across the full mission spectrum, from conventional infantry to maritime special operations. Every product in the lineup is constructed from Cordura 500D IRR, every piece is NIR compliant, and every system is designed to integrate with the broader ecosystem of front flaps, back panels, and modular pouches that Husar has developed in-house.

This article covers the two flagship plate carriers, the Noble 4.0 and the Kirys 3.0, as well as the Charge Back Panel modular system and the full pouch lineup that ties everything together.

Noble 4.0 — The Versatile Workhorse

The Noble 4.0 is Husar's primary soft-body plate carrier. It is designed for operators who need maximum compatibility without sacrificing protection or comfort. The carrier runs a Cordura 500D IRR shell with a Cordura 500D IRR Laminate back, keeping the construction both durable and NIR silent in the field.

The Noble 4.0 pairs a purpose-built front platform with universal attachment compatibility. The Swift Clip female buckle system on the front panel accepts front flaps from Husar, Mayflower, Spiritus Systems, Crye Precision, and Ferro Concepts. On the inside, a built-in admin panel with elastic webbing organizer keeps mission-critical items accessible without adding a separate pouch.

Shoulder strap hardware is available in ROC, G-Hook, and Cobra buckle configurations, with integrated routing channels for cables and hydration tubing. The rear panel closes with back zippers that accept the Noble Back Panel system, which is also compatible with Crye Precision vests in SM and MD back panel size. Shoulder straps are DIY-adjustable on a one-size-fits-most chassis, covering SAPI plate sizes from Small to XL.

Cross-brand compatibility The Noble 4.0's Swift Clip system gives it one of the widest front flap compatibility ranges in its class. Operators running Spiritus Systems, Crye Precision, or Ferro Concepts front panels can mount them directly with no adapters required, which makes the Noble a strong base carrier for mixed-fleet units.

Kirys 3.0 — Built for Maritime and Beyond

Where the Noble 4.0 is a soft-shell generalist, the Kirys 3.0 is a skeletal plate carrier purpose-built for maritime environments. Its 2.4mm Kydex frame is thermally molded for rigidity and will not absorb moisture, making it the right choice for riverine operations, boat insertions, or any mission profile where a wet carrier becomes a liability.

The Kirys 3.0 cummerbund runs Duraflex 40mm QRS buckles for genuine quick-release under load. Shoulder buckles are available in QRS or Cobra FM 1-inch configurations sold separately, giving operators flexibility in their release system. The shoulder straps are routed inside the carrier body rather than over the top, which reduces interference with rifle stocks during shouldering and transitions.

The interior panel is reinforced for structural rigidity despite the skeletal construction. Front and back panels are PALS compatible, and the Swift Clip interface accepts the same front flap ecosystem as the Noble. Cummerbund sizing covers a wide range, from 75cm up to over 115cm, across five size options.

Note on Kirys configuration Cummerbund size must be selected at order time. Shoulder buckles (QRS or Cobra FM 1") are sold separately and need to be specified. If you are unsure which configuration fits your kit, contact us before ordering.
Noble 4.0 vs Kirys 3.0 — which one fits your mission? The Noble 4.0 is the better choice for conventional infantry and general-purpose use. It is softer, more comfortable for extended wear, and available in Multicam colorways. The Kirys 3.0 is the right choice when the mission involves water: amphibious insertions, river crossings, or sustained operations in wet climates. Its Kydex frame sheds water instantly and maintains structural integrity regardless of saturation. Both carriers run NIR compliant materials and accept the same front flap ecosystem via Swift Clip.

The Charge Back Panel System

The Charge Back Panel 2.1 is the foundation of Husar's modular rear carry system. It mounts directly to the Noble Plate Carrier via the rear zipper interface and is fully compatible with Crye Precision vests in SM and MD back panel size. The base panel delivers a full PALS field across the rear, a dedicated internal pocket for breaching tools or bolt cutters, and the Beaver Tail: a reinforced pullout sleeve for longer items like a Halligan Bar.

Back Panel Base

Charge Back Panel 2.1

Husar Charge Back Panel 2.1

The outer shell is Cordura 500D IRR with heavy mesh backing for maximum airflow against the wearer's back. The Beaver Tail pulls out cleanly for longer items, with an abrasion-resistant lower section that handles contact with the ground or hard surfaces. When fully deployed, the Beaver Tail can be opened to create a pass-through configuration for non-standard cargo. The internal breaching pocket sits behind the PALS field and is sized for bolt cutters or similar tools.

The Pouch Lineup

Husar's pouch catalog is built around the same material standards as the carrier line: Cordura 500D IRR throughout, NIR compliant across the board. Every pouch mounts to PALS webbing and integrates cleanly with the Noble and Kirys without introducing visible IR signature. The lineup covers medical, utility, ammo, and grenade carry across more than twenty individual products.

Witchdoc P-O Medium 3.0

Witchdoc P-O Medium IFAK closed Witchdoc P-O Medium IFAK open

The Witchdoc P-O is Husar's IFAK solution. It runs Cordura 500D IRR Laminate for a more water-resistant construction than standard 500D, which matters when an IFAK needs to stay dry through wet insertions or sustained rain. The insert can be pulled from either side and the retention adjusts to match different insert thicknesses. Pull tabs are designed snag-free, which is critical under stress. An IR and Red Cross insert is included for immediate identification under night vision.

The Large version at $90 accepts bigger IFAK configurations for medic roles or extended operations where more consumables are needed.

Materials and Standards

Every piece of Husar kit runs Cordura 500D IRR fabric. The IRR designation means the yarn has been treated to reduce infrared reflectivity, which prevents the fabric from appearing brighter than the surrounding environment under NVG-assisted observation. This is built into the fabric construction, not applied as a surface treatment, so it does not degrade with use, washing, or abrasion.

NIR compliance covers the finished product: not just the fabric, but all hardware, webbing, buckles, and thread used in assembly. Husar applies this standard across the entire product range, from the plate carrier shell down to individual pouch inserts. The result is a coherent system where every piece, when assembled, presents a uniform and compliant signature.
