Haley Strategic THORAX Cummerbund

The Haley Strategic THORAX Cummerbund is a modular plate carrier cummerbund designed to provide a comfortable and adaptable platform for carrying mission-essential equipment, armor, radios and accessories.

Developed as part of the Haley Strategic THORAX system, the cummerbund combines a full MOLLE mounting platform with integrated stretch, internal storage and cable-management capabilities. The result is a versatile load-bearing solution that can be configured around a wide range of operational requirements.

Integrated Stretch for Improved Comfort

The THORAX Cummerbund uses VELCRO® Brand hook-and-loop attachment points with hidden stretch elastic.

This allows the cummerbund to adjust naturally with the body during movement, helping maintain a secure fit while improving comfort during extended wear.

The elastic is integrated into the design rather than exposed, maintaining a clean and streamlined profile.

Full MOLLE Mounting Platform

Each side features a 1-inch MOLLE field, providing direct compatibility with Haley Strategic MOLLE pouches and other compatible MOLLE/PALS equipment.

Depending on the selected size, the cummerbund provides between 3 and 9 MOLLE columns per side, allowing the carrier to be configured for different equipment requirements.

Integrated Soft Armor Pocket

A hidden internal pocket runs along the MOLLE section of the cummerbund.

This pocket is designed for direct integration with the DFNDR Cummerbund Soft Armor, providing users with the option to add side protection without requiring a separate external armor pouch.

For configurations requiring hard side armor, the optional Cummerbund Side Plate Cap can also be added.

Internal Radio Integration

The internal pocket can also accommodate compatible radio equipment using the optional Haley Strategic Padded PRC Pouch.

This allows radios to be carried on the inside of the cummerbund without occupying valuable external MOLLE space.

Integrated Cable Management

Integrated communication ports allow radio, hub and EUD cables to be routed internally through the cummerbund.

This helps reduce exposed cabling and potential snag hazards while keeping the external MOLLE platform available for pouches and other equipment.

The THORAX Cummerbund is directly compatible with:

It can also be used with other plate carriers that utilize a standard VELCRO® Brand hook-and-loop cummerbund attachment system, making it a useful option for compatible cross-brand plate carrier configurations.
