Perroz Structural Cummerbund (PSC)
The Perroz Structural Cummerbund (PSC) is a rigid, load-bearing plate carrier cummerbund designed to provide structural support without restricting natural chest expansion. Unlike traditional systems that place elastic or expansion at the rear, the PSC uses a front-expansion design, positioning movement around the anterior and lateral chest where the rib cage naturally expands during breathing.
The rear remains fixed and stable, while the rigid thermoplastic construction provides the support required for heavier equipment such as side armor, radios, ordnance and belted ammunition. This allows the plate carrier to remain secure under load while providing greater freedom of movement and breathing during demanding use.
Constructed from CORDURA® laminate with structural thermoplastic reinforcement, the PSC features MOLLE-compatible mounting channels on both the exterior and interior. The inside is also loop-lined for compatibility with hook-and-loop accessories and side plate pouches.

Plate Carrier Compatibility
The Perroz PSC is designed to integrate with the Perroz Designs plate carrier and placard ecosystem and is also compatible with other plate carriers that feature loop VELCRO® at the rear.
Perroz specifically notes that the PSC is not recommended for the Slick Back versions of the LPSPC or USPC, or similar carriers without a secure rear flap closure.

- Size 1 – S/M: 23" / 7 MOLLE
- Size 2 – M/L: 25" / 9 MOLLE
- Size 3 – L/XL: 26" / 11 MOLLE
Perroz recommends sizing up when using internally mounted radio wing pouches or side plates.
