The Hexatac HPC²® Structural Cummerbunds

Are a new-generation design created to be compatible with a wide range of plate carriers. They combine vertical rigidity with horizontal elasticity, allowing for the comfortable carriage of heavy loads while adapting to chest expansion and layering in dynamic environments.

Sizing:

Available in 4 sizes — adjustability is managed via the included elastic cord:

• Small: 91–115 cm

• Medium: 99–123 cm

• Large: 107–131 cm

• X-Large: 115–139 cm

The elastic cord allows not only for precise circumference adjustment but also for customizing the firmness of fit — from flexible to tight — depending on mission needs.

Modularity:

Each cummerbund is constructed with two layers of composite material, forming a “sandwich” design that allows equipment to be mounted between the layers for a smoother, more comfortable setup.

Instead of fabric MOLLE, the laser-cut composite structure serves as MOLLE — allowing gear to be mounted on both the inside and outside of the cummerbund.

The interior is lined with soft Velcro (loop) for attaching ballistic plate pockets or other Velcro-compatible inserts.

Mounting:

The cummerbunds are installed like standard skeletal cummerbunds, threading through the rear channels of the HPC²® Plate Carrier. The elastic cord passes through a dedicated opening in the rear plate pocket flap, allowing for direct length adjustment.

Locking System:

The front closure uses the included Duraflex Tubes for rapid attachment, while vertical rigidity is maintained by the internal composite insert, which slides into internal slots of the front plate pocket.

Compatibility:

Compatible with any plate carrier that features structural channels or skeleton-style cummerbund guides — including platforms like the JPC®.
