Direct Action
Direct Action Vanguard Field Hat – NyCo Ripstop
The Direct Action Vanguard Field Hat – NyCo Ripstop is a lightweight tactical field hat designed to provide practical head and sun protection during military, law-enforcement, training and outdoor operations.
Developed as part of the Direct Action Vanguard apparel system, the Field Hat is designed to complement modern combat uniforms while providing a comfortable alternative to tactical caps and other headwear.
NyCo Ripstop Construction
The Vanguard Field Hat is manufactured using NyCo Ripstop fabric, combining the comfort of cotton with the durability of nylon.
The ripstop construction helps improve resistance against tearing and damage during demanding field use while keeping the hat comfortable enough for extended wear.
This makes it particularly suitable for military training, range use, reconnaissance, hiking and other activities where lightweight but durable headwear is required.
Designed for Field Operations
A traditional field hat provides greater coverage than a standard tactical cap, helping protect the head, face and neck from direct sunlight.
Its low-profile construction also makes it practical for use alongside backpacks, chest rigs, plate carriers and other tactical equipment.
When not required, the flexible construction makes the hat easy to store inside a cargo pocket, backpack or general-purpose pouch.
Part of the Vanguard Uniform System
The Vanguard Field Hat is designed to complement the wider Direct Action Vanguard uniform range.
Combine it with the Vanguard Combat Shirt, Vanguard Field Shirt and Vanguard Combat Trousers to create a complete tactical field uniform suitable for professional and recreational use.
