Introducing the long-awaited successor to the original HMB® Belt. This next-generation model incorporates four years of user feedback to deliver improved performance and daily comfort.

Rigid, lightweight, and with even more MOLLE-compatible space around the entire belt, the new HMB²® Belt sets a new standard.

Skeleton
The stiff structure of the HMB²® Belt Gen2 is based on the new chassis from our upcoming HMB-R® platform, designed for aerial use (coming soon). Featuring our new signature pattern—originally developed for the HMB-R® Belt and also used on the HPC-E® Cummerbunds—this structure is rigid and consistent throughout, with no weak points. This design allows precise buckle placement, maximizing usable space and eliminating excess straps.

Webbing and Buckle
The HMB²® Belt Gen2 uses a “free-float” design: the webbing is only attached at the buckle and slides freely within the outer skeleton. The webbing used is more abrasion-resistant than those typically found in aerial platforms.

The polymer buckle locks securely on both sides, ensuring it stays in place and keeps your settings. The user can easily adjust, shorten, or replace the strap, as well as manage the length of the free ends on either side.

In this second-generation model, we’ve removed the metal Cobra® buckle, as it’s unnecessary for everyday use. This belt is not designed for personal safety or fall protection.

Consistent Rigidity
In line with our approach to reduce Velcro use when not essential, we’ve maintained rigidity using a male extension of the skeleton that slots into the signature pattern for a seamless lock.

Size Guide
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY
The sizes listed below refer to the maximum internal circumference of the belt. There is no minimum size, but the further your waist is from the maximum, the more overlap there will be between the belt ends.

If your waist measurement is exactly at the maximum, select that size.

• X-SMALL: up to 77 cm

• SMALL: up to 89 cm

• MEDIUM: up to 101 cm

• LARGE: up to 113 cm

• X-LARGE: up to 125 cm

To measure correctly, measure your waist at the belt loops of your trousers, over your trousers, while wearing an inner belt, using a flexible tape measure. Avoid pulling too tight or leaving it too loose. If you don’t have a tape measure, you can use a piece of string or paracord, then measure it against a ruler.
