The Husar WDS 1.0 Weight Distribution System is a stiffened inner cummerbund designed to improve comfort, stability and weight distribution when wearing a loaded plate carrier. By balancing the load between the front and rear of the carrier, the WDS helps reduce unwanted shifting and keeps your setup stable during use.
This is particularly useful for plate carrier configurations with a heavily loaded back panel, where uneven weight distribution can otherwise affect comfort and positioning.

Improved Plate Carrier Weight Distribution
The WDS 1.0 is designed for setups where equipment mounted to the front and rear of a plate carrier creates an uneven load. Its reinforced construction helps maintain the correct balance between both sides of the carrier, allowing it to remain stable even when carrying additional equipment on a back panel.
Compatibility
The Husar WDS 1.0 is designed for the Husar Noble and Duke plate carriers. It can also be used with other plate carriers featuring a similar cummerbund attachment system and loop Velcro on the inside of the carrier.
