PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha+ Gloves
The PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha+ Gloves – MultiCam combine the high-dexterity design of the popular PIG FDT Alpha with the increased durability of a premium goatskin leather palm.
Designed for professional users who require excellent tactile feedback without sacrificing hand protection, the Alpha+ features padded knuckles, touchscreen-compatible leather and a low-profile fit. This makes it an excellent choice for military, law-enforcement, tactical and other demanding field applications.
The Alpha+ bridges the gap between the standard PIG FDT Alpha and the Alpha FR, combining the familiar Alpha platform with the all-leather palm construction found on the FR version.
Premium Goatskin Leather Palm
The Alpha+ features a premium goatskin all-leather palm and fingers. Compared with the synthetic suede used on the standard Alpha, the natural leather provides increased durability while gradually breaking in and conforming to the user's hand.
A single-layer palm construction minimizes unnecessary material between the hand and equipment, helping maintain the tactile sensitivity and precise control for which PIG FDT gloves are known.
Touchscreen Compatible
Special conductive leather is incorporated into the thumb and forefinger, allowing compatible touchscreen devices to be operated without removing the gloves.
This is particularly useful when working with smartphones, navigation systems and other touchscreen-based equipment in the field.
Padded Knuckle Protection
The Alpha+ uses 1000D Stretch Ballistic Nylon padded knuckles, providing additional protection while allowing the material to move naturally with the hand.
Isolated knife-edge padding adds protection along the outside edge of the hand without unnecessarily increasing bulk across the palm.

Leather Break-In & Care
The conductive leather used on the thumb and forefinger contains a high concentration of carbon and graphite. Because of this, some black color transfer onto the fingers may occur, particularly when the gloves are new.
Hand washing the gloves and allowing them to air dry naturally can help with the leather break-in process and remove much of the excess carbon and graphite.
PIG FDT Alpha+ vs. Alpha
The standard PIG FDT Alpha uses a synthetic suede palm, while the Alpha+ upgrades the palm and fingers to premium goatskin leather.
