Platatac Peacekeeper Mk5 Chest Rig
The Platatac Peacekeeper Mk5 is a high-capacity tactical chest rig designed for users who need substantial ammunition and equipment carriage in a practical, proven layout. Building on Platatac’s Peacekeeper series, the Mk5 combines generous magazine capacity with integrated utility storage, PALS expansion and two included harness options.
Its fixed layout provides quick access to essential equipment while still offering enough modularity to configure the rig around different weapons, communications equipment, medical gear and mission requirements.
Multi-Caliber Magazine Capacity
The Peacekeeper Mk5 can carry up to six 30-round AR/M4 magazines across the front of the rig.
The magazine pouches provide additional flexibility and can alternatively accommodate two AK magazines per pouch or a single 20-round HK417/.308 magazine, making the chest rig suitable for a variety of weapon platforms.
Integrated Utility Storage
Large zippered general-purpose pouches are positioned on both sides of the rig. These provide space for equipment such as a 1-litre water bottle, radio, medical equipment or other mission essentials.
Additional front zippered compartments offer convenient storage for smaller items, while PALS webbing provides attachment points for additional MOLLE-compatible pouches and accessories.
A horizontal zippered compartment underneath the magazine section adds further storage. Elastic inserts can be used to organise equipment such as tourniquets or chemical lights while keeping them readily accessible.
Additional Organisation
The rear of the Peacekeeper Mk5 features an integrated mesh admin pocket with hook-and-loop closure. An included zipper insert can be fitted when a fully zippered admin compartment is preferred.
Two Tweave 4-way stretch pockets provide flexible storage for equipment such as additional magazines, radios, maps, notebooks or identification panels.
An enlarged hook-and-loop section underneath the rig also provides compatibility with suitable Platatac sub-load pouches for users who require additional carrying capacity.
Two Harness Options Included
The Platatac Peacekeeper Mk5 includes both a Chicom Low Profile X-Harness and a Chicom Lightweight H-Harness.
This allows the user to choose the harness configuration that best suits their equipment and personal preference. Their low-profile construction also helps minimise unnecessary bulk when the chest rig is worn with a backpack or other equipment.

The Peacekeeper Mk5 is constructed from 500D Cordura nylon with Tweave 520E 4-way stretch material in selected areas.
Quality hardware and components include ITW Nexus hardware and YKK zippers, providing a durable construction suitable for demanding professional and tactical use.
