While the PGD Berserker offers the same level of protection as other NIJ Level III or IV plates, its affordability comes from using materials that are slightly heavier than those in our other models. This added weight does not affect its protective capabilities.
We utilize AL203 ceramics, known for being the heaviest type of ceramic, creating a cost-effective and durable solution without compromising on quality.

The PGD Berserker NIJ IV is a Stand Alone (SA) plate, specifically designed as hard armor to deliver complete ballistic protection without the need for additional soft armor backing.

PGD active ceramic areaThe PGD Berserker provides full edge-to-edge protection, meaning the plate is meticulously designed to safeguard against impacts even at its outermost edges. In contrast, some plates feature foam edges ranging from 2 to 4 cm wide, primarily included to reduce weight and present more favorable specifications.
However, this approach compromises the plate's effective protective coverage, resulting in up to 35% less actual protection area. This reduction creates a false sense of security, as these plates may not offer comprehensive defense, particularly in critical edge areas. The PGD Berserker ensures maximum coverage without sacrificing protection. -
Designed for extreme environmentsThis PGD Berserker plate is equipped with a thin layer of protective foam to safeguard the ceramic from potential damage due to impacts or drops, ensuring durability across both the front and edges.
